Small jobs, Big Clients: How Edison’s New Digital Printing Capabilities Benefits Clients
The addition of the Durst Rho 900 marks Edison Litho’s entry into production digital UV inkjet printing, and a whole new range of printing capabilities for clients whose output requirements go beyond more traditional litho printing.
Many of Edison’s clients have important, low volume printing needs. The pint-size Durst (compared to its three super large format KBA cousins) fills that need perfectly.
Just some of the uses for this equipment include:
If signage is needed for a single store, rather than an entire chain
When advance copies of display labels are needed for a presentation.
Very large banners – because the Durst prints roll-to-roll on vinyl, you can print a banner 100” wide by hundreds of feet long.
Short run with many different lots.
Printing double-sided on many different substrates, including plexi-glass, wood, plastic, canvas, vinyls and more.
Just some of the uses for this equipment include:
The Rho 900 will print up to 72 boards per hour in 6 colors.
Up to 72 sheets/h 4x8 ft./125 x 250cm equivalent to 225m²/h
34 sheets/h 4x8 ft./125 x 250cm approx 100m²/h in POP 6c quality
6 color system with white and varnish capability
Wider color gamut helps match difficult corporate colors and provides smoother color gradients and solids
