New Account Representative, Dee Lozano, Helps Edison Litho Expand Internationally
Wednesday, February 22, 2012
Dee Lozano has over a decade of experience working in the printing industry. She has managed and worked in many different departments, including marketing, logistics, planning and sales. Now, she brings that experience to Edison Litho.Based in Texas, Dee’s goals are to increase the customer base in the region. In addition, she is helping Edison Litho reach across the border into Mexico and deep into South America.“Not only is Dee experienced and knowledgeable about the printing industry, but she is fluent in Spanish, has exceptional people skills and has a deep understanding of the needs of U.S and foreign based firms with production facilities across the border,” explains Joe Ostreicher, COO of Edison Litho. This enables her to bridge the gap between Edison and important markets. According to Dee, “There is major need for large litho in these growing markets. Only Edison has the capacity and capabilities to effectively provide these services. Edison’s equipment, shipping expertise, quality and pricing makes it viable for POP manufacturers and corrugated companies to use an East Coast based printer for their needs. 2012 is going to be great for us!” How important is fluency in Spanish for this market? Dee answers, “On the Texas side, everyone naturally speaks English, but there may be some level of comfort with a Spanish speaker. However, once you cross the border, being able to communicate effectively with the client’s entire team, including technical people, is key to your success.” Over the last fifty years, Edison Litho has been a leader in wide format litho printing. Going forward, the company looks forward to branching out into new markets and servicing local, national and international customers equally. |
